PRIVACY & DATA

What this beta records.

Kairos Research is operated by @0xzaen. This page describes the small amount of data used to provide and evaluate the beta.

Published research

When you choose “Record thesis,” your probability, reasoning, invalidation condition, optional source URL, and a market snapshot are stored on AWS. The receipt and its follow-ups are readable by anyone with the link. Unlisted means the app does not provide a public directory; it does not mean private.

Do not put personal, confidential, or sensitive information in a published thesis. Original records remain stored so shared links and research history continue to work. To request removal, send the receipt link using the feedback form below.

Your browser

A random, first-party cookie allows the same browser to add follow-ups. Watchlists and the list of your receipt links are saved in local browser storage. Clearing browser data can remove your ability to manage a receipt; save the links separately if you want to keep reading it.

Product measurement

We record basic actions such as viewing a market, saving a thesis, revisiting a receipt, and sharing a link. Events use pseudonymous identifiers and limited campaign labels, not the text of your thesis or feedback. Usage records expire after 30 days. Test activity is separated from public-user measurements.

Short-lived keyed hashes support rate limits. Application records do not retain raw IP addresses. Hosting providers process network information needed to serve requests. No advertising trackers or third-party marketing pixels are installed. Google Fonts serves the typefaces and receives the normal network information associated with that request.

Feedback

Feedback is private. An email address is optional and is used only to respond about the feedback or interest you submit. Feedback records expire after 90 days. Expressing interest in future paid features does not create a subscription or charge.

Infrastructure

The app uses AWS hosting and storage, and fetches public market information from Polymarket. Links to external sources follow those sites’ own privacy practices. The app does not connect wallets, hold funds, or execute trades.
